If you are getting error while uploading exe file or anyother blocked files.
Follow the steps below to upload the files
Open Central Administration
in the Operation Tab
Securtiy Section
open the option Blocked file types
Remove the exe (extension) in the list & delete also from the web applications blocked file types list.
You can remove the blocked extesnsions

The way suggested by you will enable uploading the exe files to any of the document library in the web application.
Can we unblock the uploading of exe's to a particular document library not to entire web application or atleast to a site collection only.

Hi Khatri,
As of now i couldnt find any global list for Blocked file extensions,
when you open operations -> Security configuration -> blocked file extensions.
you will be able to choose the web application in the top right corner.
when you edit blocked file types it will allowed only for the web application you chosen.
it will not change the settings for entire farm.
